Idebenone: This substance is a relatively recent player in the frothy anti aging skin care market. You do not need to know about all the chemistry which led to it's isolation as a skin aid, just that it has been shown to have positive anti-wrinkle properties. Skin care vendors have embraced it lovingly and introduced idebenone formulations at some rather pricey levels, probably based more on newness than on enhanced effectiveness as an anti-wrinkle fighter.
