I have long been an advocate of a working retirement. One of the best productive retirement activities, for those who are inclined to want to continue earning, is website development. I do this myself, and find it highly stimulating and challenging. Lately, I've been taking on some clients for whom I'm constructing websites. Here's an example of one I just completed for a gentleman and his wife who are also of a certain age: Master Deck Builder. And, here's another I just completed - Socrates Theme.

As other examples, I recently launched a website offering Mountain Bikes for Sale, another analyzing various aspects of Road Bikes and two new sites offering 1. Major Tire Brands for Sale and 2. All About Specialty Coffees. Also, I've recently launched some home improvement sites about Paint Sprayers and another one all about chainsaws. And, be ready for Spring and Summer by visiting our Lawn Mower Store. Of interest to older war veterans is a site about War Memorabilia Collectibles and, for gift givers, Sophisticated Fountain Pens as Gifts. Ordinarily, I don't toot my horn about my stuff on this website, but I thought I should at least mention that for those of us moving well along in the aging process, developing websites, either for pleasure, or for profit is an excellent way to keep the old gray matter engaged and sharp. We know that's a large part of the formula for maintaining a healthy outlook as we become more chronologically advantaged.

For many years hormone replacement therapy was considered the medical norm to give to women who were going through menopause. Now known as hormone therapy, was a therapy that they thought not only treated the symptoms of menopause but may have also had a factor in lessening the threats of heart disease and osteoporosis.

Doctors started questioning the validity of this therapy after a clinical study in 2002 that produced evidence that hormone replacement therapy may not be as healthy as once thought that it was. Parts of the clinical testing revealed that this therapy actually might be causing more health hazards than preventing. Once doctors started studying the results of this particular test, they started changing their minds about whether or not their patients should be on this therapy long term.

The treatment takes estrogen and combines it with the man made hormone progestin. Given to patients who had trouble with handling the symptoms of menopause like hot flashes and other symptoms that come a long with menopause. This therapy use to be a long term therapy that lasted over a period of years. Because of the test however; long term use is rarely used as compared to its more common short term use presently.

Doctors have discovered that if the Bioidentical Hormone Replacement therapy is given short term, some of the health benefits can still be achieved. Doctors are discovering that with short term use, the threat of osteoporosis is lessened, heart disease with short term use might still be lessened but the therapy should be administered to the woman when they are in the early stages of post menopause. When used in moderation it is possible that the therapy can lower the risk of colorectal cancer.

If a woman has entered menopause, it is really important that she seriously consider whether or not she wants to risk taking the therapy over a long extended period of time. If they feel that the extent of their menopause is too much for them to handle as compared to the possible hazards, they might want to see if their doctor will put them on the therapy to help make menopause more tolerable.

Women and doctors both need to consider the risks seriously. It is now suspected that with long term use of hormone therapy it might actually increase the risk of heart disease. Long term use of hormones might also increase the risk of breast cancer. The increase in strokes has also been linked to the long term use as well as more false positive mammograms.

With women who have only taken estrogen for therapy it was discovered that they did not seem to have an increase in heart disease, but they still had an increase in strokes, an increase in blood clots of the legs and there seemed to be more mammograms that tested positive when they were negative.

Should a woman strongly believe that the symptoms she is suffering during menopause is far too life disrupting and they feel the risks are small compared to the menopause it would be advisable for them to contact their doctor and sit down and discuss the possible implementation of hormone therapy. Other things that might influence a woman to take the therapy is if the doctor has discovered that the woman is suffering from bone loss. Another reason might be if the woman began menopause before the age of 40.

If you happen to be suffering from any of the symptoms mentioned above, then trying the hormone therapy on a short term basis, might be able to help you with your problems. It will be up to your doctor however; to decide whether you should be put on long term versus short term.

Compounding pharmacists are professionals with specialized and trustworthy expertise in the medical field. Among the best within their industry, they have knowledge of procedures like the Bioidentical Hormone Replacement, or better known as the BHRT.

Signed into law to provide health and economic security for seniors in 1965, Medicare is an important source of health insurance coverage for 45 million people. Today, about 97% of older American have health insurance through Medicare.

Being covered by health insurance is vital for people of all ages, but it is especially critical for those with disabilities and those with illnesses and chronic conditions associated with aging. This article is designed to provide you with basic information on Medicare – how it works, how it differs from Medicare advantage plans, and who is eligible.

Medicare Basics

The Medicare program is a federal health care insurance program for people over the age of 65 and the disabled. Medicare has two parts. Medicare Part A is a Hospital Insurance program, while Medicare Part B is a Supplementary Medical insurance (most people pay monthly for Part B).

Traditional Medicare & Medicare Advantage Plans

You can get your health-care coverage from Medicare in one of two ways: enroll in regular fee-for-service program through Traditional Medicare (Parts A and B) or in a Medicare Advantage plan (also known as Medicare Part C) through a health plan sponsored by a private company. To join a Medicare Advantage Plan, you must have Medicare Part A and Part B.

If you are enrolled in one of Medicare Advantage plans (HMO, PPO, PFFS, and SNP), you still have Medicare Parts A and B, but you get your health-care services through a private plan that has a contract with Medicare. Medicare Advantage Plans coverage can include prescription drug coverage. You pay your usual Part B premium, plus any additional premium that the plan may charge.

Medicare Advantage Plans may have lower deductibles and co-payments than Traditional Medicare and cover costs & services not covered by traditional Medicare. That’s why many people choose Medicare Advantage plans which offer affordable health insurance coverage.

Who Is Eligible For Medicare?

Eligibility is not based on financial need. Generally, if you are a citizen or permanent resident of the United States and one or more of these describes you, you are eligible for Medicare Parts A and B:

1) You are 65 years or older and eligible to receive Social Security;

2) You are under 65, permanently disabled, and have received Social Security disability insurance payments for at least 2 years;

3) You are under 65 years of age with end-stage renal disease (ESRD) and you or your spouse has met the Medicare work requirement.

If you already get benefits from Social Security or the Railroad Retirement Board, you are automatically entitled to Medicare Part A and Part B starting the first day of the month you turn age 65. You will not need to do anything to enroll.

I hope this doesn't sound silly, but, let's face it, the primary cause of aging is aging itself. Of course, there are measures that can be taken to stave off the effects of aging. If you're a smoker, c'mon now, you must understand that few behaviors contribute more to the appearance of aging and deterioration of the body than smoking. It's not my place to preach, but quitting will be the best thing you can do to maintain healthy living as the aging process inevitably does it's work.

While there are medications that can aid in stopping smoking, some advocate natural methods, and the article that follows has interesting some suggestions. Read on for more enlightenment.

Best Natural Ways To Stop Smoking-How To Quit Cigarettes And Quit Smoking Now

Doctors of homeopathic medicine have known about the best natural ways to stop smoking for many years. The mainstream medical community typically recommends nicotine replacement to help you quit smoking. Homeopathic remedies contain a very small amount of actual tobacco, as well as other herbal and plant-based ingredients.

Most people that try to quit cigarettes have great difficulty, because nicotine is one of the most addictive substances. It has been compared to heroine, because of the physical withdrawal symptoms that accompany an effort to go "cold turkey".

Sometimes it is advised by doctors that one of the best natural ways to quit smoking is to slowly cut down on the quantity of cigarettes you smoke daily. However, that method really doesn't work very well to help people quit smoking. It does not work well because it doesn't take into account the strong desire the act of smoking creates.

In order to quit cigarettes, you need to be able to overcome the psychological, as well as the physical addiction. Either nicotine replacement or the small amount of tobacco in homeopathic remedies will help with the physical cravings, but not the psychological dependence.

As far as being effective, some of the best natural ways to stop smoking employ a multiple system approach. Systems that use nutritional advice and herbal remedies to help make the physical desire easier to handle can be very effective. Having a support system in place, relaxation exercises, and a good educational program give you a complete system that really works. Before you really can quit smoking you need to comprehend why it is that you smoke.

It's very rare that a smoker has not tried to quit cigarettes at one time or another. However, one thing or another always prevented them from being able to quit. If they were successful in their search for the best natural ways to stop smoking they would have been able to stop.

Because people are concerned that they may experience weight gain they stop trying to quit smoking before they even begin. Have you ever heard of the poison nut? It's a homeopathic remedy that halts hunger and the desire for food. It makes it possible to quit cigarettes, and not increase your weight.

A good homeopathic solution can be one of the best natural ways to stop smoking. It will aid you to quit smoking and not have to experience all the symptoms that are usually associated with trying to quit including that nagging cough.

The subject of Go-Karting may seem a bit strange for a site devoted to the aging process, but, if the truth be known, many older adults are finding that Go-Karts offer a terrific recreational outlet. Jay Leno, who's 58 as of this writing, is an enthusiast.

What kid doesn't yearn to drive? If you're a boomer with adolescents or a grandparent with grand kids that age, you might just want to consider participating in this ideal sport for the entire family. If you want to spend some quality time with your grandchildren, you might want to give this some thought.

Many people think that go karts are just for kids. That's probably because these cars started out as children's toys. Add their small size and the unusual spelling, and it's no surprise that many people aren't aware that older adults can have a lot of fun on go karts - and, as mentioned, even Jay Leno is a huge fan. While there are junior leagues in go karting, it's a lot more popular with adults, with karts capable of going as fast as sixty miles an hour.

That kind of speed doesn't feel very fast if you're driving a car on the interstate, but just try it in a go kart, and you'll see how fast sixty miles per hour can really be. There's no suspension in a kart, no windshield, and no enclosed cabin to keep you from feeling the wind. Plus, the bottom of a kart is only a few inches from the ground, so you'll feel every change in the pavement. Even professional racers say going top speed in a go kart feels much faster than the same speed in a Formula 1 racer.

Go karts are becoming popular with adults in all kinds of settings, even including corporate outings. Some go kart tracks do mostly corporate business, with sessions focused on leadership development, staff motivation and team building. These corporate events are dedicated to the metaphor of racing, and even business professionals get to cut loose and hit the track in a go kart. In fact, karting is probably the fastest growing motor sport.

Serious go karting can be expensive, with kart ownership costing as much as a small car. High end go karts can cost over ten thousand dollars and hit highway speeds, making it clear that they're not just for kids. This kind of racing kart is used only on large outdoor tracks. Indoor karts are used on smaller tracks and generally go only about forty miles per hour.

However, the turns and twists on a commercial go kart track can make even that seem a lot faster - it's like a roller coaster that you can control. Indoor karts also have more safety features, including steel buffers to keep cars from knocking wheels on a tight track - something that could be dangerous at high speeds.

Adults who are interested in driving go karts can just walk into a track, and pay for a session - usually about thirty to forty dollars. However, they'll have to wear protective clothing and go through a safety talk, since these karts are a lot more powerful than the ones driven by kids. There are even adult racing leagues at most tracks, allowing kart enthusiasts to compete against one another. A typical race is fifteen laps, with each lap taking about twenty seconds.

If you've been thinking that go karting is just for kids, think again. This is a great sport that can be enjoyed by anyone. Many grownups are getting back into go karting, and having a lot of fun.

Everyone has heard about meditation and its manifold benefits. Various researches conducted worldwide have proved that nothing else benefits the soul and the body like meditation does.

Those of us who are becoming more chronologically advantaged, face it, getting older, often have not had exposure to the benefits of meditation. It just hasn't been a part of many older Americans' world view. Just because we're aging, and hopefully gaining greater wisdom, doesn't mean that we are not subject to the same sorts of stress others feel in this fast paced, modern world. Here is a rundown on the various approaches to meditation.

Methods of Meditation

Everyone has heard about meditation and its manifold benefits. Various researches conducted worldwide have proved that nothing else benefits the soul and the body like meditation does.

As a novice meditation can seem quite intimidating especially because it has strong ties to some religions. But meditations can benefit your cognitive as well as your corporal systems. If this sounds good than? go for it.

To get you moving with meditation, here are some tips that you can use as a beginner:

1. Zen Buddhist Meditation Technique or Zazen- This method is most regularly linked with religion. Nevertheless, this technique, as put forth by Lord Buddha, has shown itself to be a most effective one. Zazen is at the core of the Zen Buddhist rites- this entails a focus on breath, sitting up and being quiet.

Instructions- As a novice, begin by sitting up, and counting to 10, and letting out your breath after each number. After counting your breaths in and out go back to 1 and begin once more. If you are unable to maintain your focus while counting, redirect your focus onto your breaths and begin once more. As you become more skilled in this method, you can cease counting and focus solely on your breaths. It may take years to come to this point as focusing without counting is quite difficult to do. The Zen meditation method can lift your heart and soul, and increase your consciousness, and sensitivity.

2. Mantra Meditation Method- This is a method at the center of the Hindu faith, and because of its efficaciousness, it is a favorite method. The name reveals the system- you select a mantra that you can repeat either mentally or out loud with ease. This can aid you in a focus of your energy and thus you may more easily increase your ability to concentrate.

One you might try is the So Hum mantra meditation. As you inhale you say in your mind, Sooo, and then Hummm as you let your breath out. 'So Hum" translates as 'I am That', meaning you are one with deity. This method opens up your emotion center and lets you give love without reserve.

3. The Chakra Meditation Method- To begin, Chakra are whirlpools of energy that must be balanced to gain the many benefits by this method and it's many versions. You may find this very interesting method of meditation interesting. As you attain balance in your energies your emotional and physical aspects can be greatly benefited. Free and stabilize your energies by following these guidelines-

a. Arrange your Chakra upon your body and concentrate on it. Gradually you will be mindful of the placement of your Chakra and the energy it contains will begin to open up.

b. The Chakras are in direct relation to the 'Beej mantra' or the 'seed sound'. As you say the Chakra again and again, the target area is opened up and balances. Care is used in this method to prevent opening these areas too fast.

If you want to find out how your life can be benefited from meditation just give it a try and find out!

The effects of alcoholism on the family can be devastating. Having a husband, wife, mother or father as an alcoholic can potentially destroy a family.

Alcoholism is a progressive disease that only gets worse as the sufferer moves through the aging process. That means that it tends, over time, to have increasingly harmful effects on the family and relationships within the family. Moreover, if the alcoholic is unwilling to do anything ro seek recovery, it becomes incumbent on other family members to adjust their lives in ways that will minimize the impact of the disease. Here are some further insights into the delemma.

How Alcoholism Impacts the Family

The effects of alcoholism on the family can be devastating. Having a husband, wife, mother or father as an alcoholic can potentially destroy a family.

If you've been in a long-term relationship with an alcoholic, codependency is almost inevitable, which essentially means that as a codependent you suffer from relationship addiction.

Being in a codependent relationship means your needs aren't being fulfilled emotionally and that the relationship will in all likelihood be totally one-sided - you trying to please or 'be there' for your spouse/partner. This will also have a huge impact on any kids you may have because they will pick up on the destructive nature of the relationship, which will affect them especially in later years.

The effects of alcoholism on a relationship or marriage are huge, in that it naturally puts huge strain on the relationship. So it may reach a stage whether things have just gotten too bad for you (and your kids) that staying in the relationship is just not possible. Considering the whole alcoholism and divorce conundrum or looking at separation may then become a very real issue for you.

Having grown up in a family where alcoholism was prevalent and caused so much pain, I know that it's a complex issue to handle and that there simply isn't a right/wrong answer. Each family's situation is unique. Questions like, is there abuse involved, how badly are the kids being effected, how bad has the alcoholism become? - are one's that only you can answer and will provide you with more clarity as to what the right thing to do is.

Eventually something you will have to do is begin taking a stand and practising tough love - if there is to be any hope that things will change. You're going to have to draw a line in the sand and say that 'this is it.'

This is when doing an intervention could be your trump card - because if done properly, and done well - it could well get your partner or spouse into proper treatment, and so be the start of things turning around.

At the end of the day though, there just isn't a quick fix solution. It will definitely help speaking to, and meeting others, who have gone through what you have. Al-Anon, is a great support network and excellent place for you to start. The worst thing in the world you can do, is try to keep things covered up and be ashamed of what is happening - so don't be afraid to reach out and ask for help because there is lots of it out there.

So you've identified that you or someone you love needs help. So what then are the options are far as alcoholism addiction treatment and treatment for drug addiction?

One thing I've observed over the years is that people prone to alcohol abuse or addiction very often can get through their twenties with little in the way of consequences. In their thirties, problems associated with alcohol and/or drugs begin to surface, although there generally is little awareness of the connection or outright denial.

Once they reach their forties, however, problems become more severe. This is a progressive disease that never gets better, and only gets worse, in the aging process, without intervention.

I've seen so many folks, friends and loved ones, have train wrecks around alcohol as they move through their forties. This is reflected in divorces, job and financial problems or coming face to face with the legal system. Several folks I've known have died from the disease in their forties, robbed of living out a full life.

If the truth be known, alcohol, in my opinion, is the most toxic drug known to mankind. The fact that it's "legal", however, distinguishes it from other drugs which are classified as dangerous and even believed to be more so. On the other hand, alcoholism is far more costly to society than illegal drugs ever have been, or ever will be. But, society is collectively in denial of this fact.

Enough of my rant. If you think you have a problem, the article we came across below offers to insight into treatment, and it's never too late to get help.

Alcoholism Addiction Treatment and Treatment for Drug Addiction

So you've identified that you or someone you love needs help. So what then are the options are far as alcoholism addiction treatment and treatment for drug addiction?

As far as I'm concerned your first point of call should always be rehab - or a proper treatment center - where you spend 3-6 weeks getting yourself sober/clean. (Times do vary depending on where you go)

The reason I think rehab should be your first choice - is because it not only helps you detox - but follows a focused in-patient treatment program that will help you deal with a lot of the 'stuff' that causes you to use or drink.

To get the level of intensive treatment and care you need - is so much harder without going to a rehab or inpatient treatment program. How you stay clean/sober successfully after treatment is even more important - so a good rehab will also prepare you for that while you're there.

Many people have a perception that rehab is unaffordable and so is realistically never going to happen. There are a lot of treatment centers however, that have government backing, and so make it possible for just about anyone to go.

I honestly believe rehab should always be your first choice, but what are your other options? You could try addiction and alcoholism self-help approaches, which would involve you working on the spiritual, emotional and mental aspects of yourself - and therefore provide enormous potential for growth and transformation. I don't have space to go into detail here (check out my website for that). I still think however that rehab is your best bet (at least initially) - because trying to do it yourself is so much harder.

Alternative Alcoholism Treatment and Addiction Treatment options are becoming increasingly popular. I definitely think there is a place for alternative alcoholism and addiction treatment - but I would recommend using these in conjunction with a more mainstream or traditional way, especially to begin with at least - because again it is that much harder doing it without the help of addiction treatment professionals.

Therefore when considering treatments for drug addiction or alcoholism addiction treatment options - make getting into a treatment center/rehab your priority. Things like alternative alcoholism treatment and addiction/alcoholism self-help methods can play a massive part - but going to rehab will just give you that head start, and so make recovery that much easier.

So much is written, and so much concern is shown these days about cellulite that it's pertinent to inquire whether there actually are any anti cellulite products that are helpful. This article we came across tries to shed some light on the subject and has some pointers worth keeping in mind.

Anti Cellulite Products That Help

Cellulite is a condition that affects both sexes. Believe it or not, the fact is cellulite affects more than half of all women, and men also aren't invulnerable to this unsightly condition. Fortunately, there are definitely ways to get rid of cellulite. The question is, which methods or products are the best to apply?

An anti cellulite cream is one of the best remedies for cellulite. The good ones out there are often those that can do more than just get rid of cellulite. They often have properties that are safe to use, soothing and replenishing, and of course, effective. These are the 3 key properties that make up a good cellulite cream.

Ingredients - Many good creams contain a blend of herbs, which are well recognized for their anti obesity components. These herbs contain agents that actually dissolve fats under the skin. Fats play a huge role in the development of cellulite, so look for a product that targets fats. Speaking of targeting problem areas, search for a cream that provides local action. Most of the time, you are recommended to massage a cellulite cream only on the affected area for best results. Massaging in a cream improves local blood circulation and therefore acts to gradually eliminate cellulite.

There is another reason why a cellulite cream is effective. It is because of the fact that it can easily penetrate the skin. No matter what powerful ingredients there are in a cream, if it doesn't contain other essential ingredients that help the whole product penetrate the skin effectively, the cream may very well not work. Creams that are able to penetrate deep into the skin will be able to speed up the metabolism in cells and in turn melt away fatty tissue. Massaging is an effective way in improving penetration of the product. It also generates a bit of heat, which further aids in dissolving fats.

Going Natural - Natural cellulite creams are also some of the best anti cellulite products in the market. This is because natural products are deemed to be safer than products that contain lots of chemicals and other unnatural ingredients. Natural ingredients are the best to use because the body is often able to adapt to these ingredients better. So for safer products, choose cellulite creams with natural ingredients. Remember though, that we all vary in skin sensitivity, so it's always best to do a patch test first, as with all skin products.

Soothing Effect - What better product than one that is effective and safe, as well as soothing! Cellulite creams can now do double action by also providing a soothing and healing effect on the skin. This means you can also enjoy smoother and healthier skin while applying a good cellulite cream.

Caffeine and Green Tea - There are some natural ingredients that are safe, soothing and effective. Caffeine keeps fat cells active just as it keeps us active in the mornings. This means fat cells are easier to dissolve with caffeine. Green tea helps by preventing fat from being stored. On the other hand, shea butter aids in nourishing and softening the skin. Vitamin A further aids in repairing connective tissue-weak connective tissue enables cellulite to develop. Finally, algae acts to wash away toxins that are trapped in fat cells.

What is Chakra According to the ancient Hindus?

What is Chakra According to the ancient Hindus?

A chakra is an axis point in the human body that receives, connects to and conveys life force energy. Chakra is a Sanskrit word that means a continuously spinning wheel or sphere of man's aural energy. Although traditional Hindu writings assert that there are more than 88,000 chakra points in the entire human body, the most important of these chakras are the seven energy axis from the base of the spinal column to the top of the head.

Although there is no common denominator between the ancient Hindu and Chinese cultures, they are very similar in their interpretation and explanation about the role of these energy points in our health and lives in general. Both the Hindus and the Chinese look at the body's major energy points as playing important roles in our conscious and subconscious experiences. And that these seven energy points are the keys to a healthy and successful life.

Chakras are defined in various ways but there is one common thread among all of the definitions and explanations whether from the Chinese medicine point of view, the Hindu's mystical understanding of an individual's internal and external experience or modern psychology's explanation of human our consciousness and thought processes.

The chakras' unceasing interaction with our body and the environment even during our sleep gives them a direct influence over our physical structure and appearance including our bodily processes, health and our emotions. A glitch of any one of the major chakras is an indicator that something is wrong with our physical/emotional health which may directly or indirectly be noticeable.

The reason for this is because each of the seven major chakras is linked to a corresponding endocrine gland in our body. Any imbalance in the function of a chakra affects our physical and emotional processes and manifests a disturbance in the usual pattern of activity or behavior through the endocrine gland linked to it.

Taking Proper Care of our Chakras From the preceding point of view- promoted by the ancient Hindus and Chinese traditional medicine practitioners alike, we can conclude that a good number of our illnesses are in one way or another related to a malfunctioning chakra. Although physical symptoms may be absent or minimal at the very least, they are signs that something is wrong with us- physically, spiritually or emotionally.

Forgotten or repressed emotional baggage due to traumatic experiences in the past is one of the major causes of chakra imbalance. Since most people have a habit of burying bad memories in their subconscious, we are unaware that these buried emotional toxins have an effect on our bodies at the cellular level. It is therefore necessary to come to terms with our emotional baggage and resolve them in order to maintain the proper balance of our chakra and heal our physical self in the process.

Chakra Healing is Good for Our Body We can directly influence our chakras and their functions and through them our health and lives by employing techniques such as Reiki healing, aromatherapy, color therapy, chakra balancing with the aid of a pendulum, crystals or gemstones.

There are a number of ways through which we can directly influence the functions of our body's major chakras. From simple techniques such as aromatherapy, breathing exercises, physical fitness, or with the use of crystals and gemstones we can achieve balance and harmony.

For example, the practice of Yoga and directed meditation are but two of the commonly used healing methods to align and enhance our energy points in order for us to achieve total relaxation and concentration regardless of where we are. This is very helpful in relieving stress and enhances the body's natural healing processes.

Despite the fact that we can not physically see or touch our chakras, they can work independently to sustain our body.

The human body has to be healthy and fed properly in order for us to have balanced chakras. There are foods that help maintain the balance of each of the seven primary chakras.

Root-type vegetables, protein-rich foods and spices nourish our root chakra. The sexual and creativity (sacral) chakra needs sweet fruits, nuts and cinnamon, vanilla, sesame and caraway seeds; the stomach/solar plexus chakra which is responsible for enhancing our self-confidence and self-love are can be nourished by eating breads, pastas, cereal, dairy products, yogurt and minty spices.

The heart chakra thrives on our intake of green leafy vegetables and green tea. Our throat chakra needs lots of liquid like water and fruit juices and tangy fruits including apples and peaches.

By eating blueberries, grapes and drinking wine or grape juice, we help nourish our brow/third eye chakra which is responsible for making our third eye senses sharper and more attuned to our psychical abilities.

The spiritual and emotional center (our crown chakra) of the human body however does not need nutrients but requires detoxification by means of fasting.

With these simple methods of influencing our body's energy points (chakras), we are at the same time also influencing our physical wellness towards a more responsive way of life completely with our body and our environment. They are very simple ways but very effective at the same time in order for us to achieve a goal of physical and emotional wellness.
