If you'd like to discover a surefire cellulite solution, you're hardly alone. Swimsuit season is upon us and a lot of women find themselves wishing for a way to get rid of cellulite, an unsightly problem all too many women struggle with.

You may think the only way to get rid of cellulite is to have expensive, invasive and often dangerous surgical procedures. Liposuction has become extremely popular in recent years and it doesn't seem like such a big deal anymore. However, not only is surgery full of risk, you also face the possibility that your cellulite will return. And, that's assuming the liposuction worked to remove it initially.

So what can you do to get smooth, dimple-free thighs? Let's have a look at some of the alternative treatments for cellulite reduction and help you get ready for that new bikini this summer.

One treatment which many use is mesotherapy. This treatment was invented in the fifties by a French doctor named Dr. Pistor. In Europe it's a popular choice that involves injections of amino acids, minerals and vitamins into the areas where cellulite exists. Generally the injections are administered each week for several months to achieve good results.

Mesotherapy is effective for many, but it is a lengthy and expensive procedure. In addition, it can also be hard to find doctors who are qualified to perform the procedure. Since it is expensive and many are not so fond of needles, this tends to be considered after other methods have already been tried.

Another option for many women is body wraps. Although popular, these wraps are not known with certainty to work. Toxins in the body are thought to play a part in the formation of cellulite, but this treatment still comes with a question mark attached.

Those who favor body wraps believe they encourage toxin removal from your body to improve body contour and decrease water retention for a smoother, more attractive appearance. Body wraps are intended to stimulate skin cells and produce healthier looking skin. Although results are not guaranteed, it won't hurt to give this option a try; worst case is you'll get to enjoy a bit of rest and relaxation at the spa.

Of course, exercise and diet can go a long way towards reducing cellulite in those who are carrying a few extra pounds or have a lack of muscle tone. Not everybody loves exercise and diet restrictions, but this is an option which works well when practiced regularly. Simple steps like walking and biking can get you started and the change will astound you.

Many people find it difficult to make healthy habits a part of their daily routine. However, by making a commitment to doing a little extra each day such as eating more fruits and veggies, parking a bit further from the store and drinking water in place of high-calorie beverages, you'll find the benefits start to add up significantly over the course of time. And, the positive health-related benefits you'll enjoy such as more energy, less stress and a better night's sleep will make cellulite reduction seem like an added bonus.

Do a little research before you pick a cellulite solution to try and keep in mind that the most expensive treatment is not always the best one.

Often the aging process is accompanied with the onset of gout. Finding gout relief is incredibly important because gout is usually such an intense and painful condition. Before a person can truly understand about the best way to get gout relief for their condition however they are going to have to learn more about gout and what is involved within it.

What is Gout?

Gout is a serious and commonly experienced form of arthritis. Gout can be caused by a number of different factors, including too much alcohol consumption, eating too many foods rich in purines, excessive exercise, crash dieting, surgery, stress, chemotherapy, and high blood pressure.

The signs and symptoms that are associated with gout will often not appear for a while and then suddenly come out of nowhere and be incredibly intense and painful. Swelling in the joints, particularly in the big toe, is one of the most common symptoms and there may also be red and shiny skin around the infected area.

Finding Gout Relief

Anyone suffering from this condition will obviously want to find gout relief as quickly as they can. The first step that should be taken is to make a change in diet. It is very important that anyone suffering from this condition limit their intake of fatty and sugary foods and increase their intake of fresh fruits and vegetables.

Water is also very important and at least six to eight glasses should be drank a day. Exercise should be frequent and consistent, and it is especially important for the person to eat lots of foods that are high in purines. This includes red meat and poultry, mushrooms, asparagus, yeast, alcohol, peas, legumes, lentils, spinach, beans, heart, kidney, and tripe, to name just a few.

Medication is also often prescribed for gout relief, and non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs are often the first to be suggested here. These work by blocking prostaglandins which are the substances that dilate the blood vessels in the body and which in turn cause inflammation and pain in the sufferer. These medications are typically taken orally at their highest safe dosage and will be continued for as long as necessary.

Speaking to the Doctor

Regardless of how severe a person’s gout condition is, it is vital that they speak to their doctor and then keep in close contact with them afterwards as well. This is because everyone is different and so everyone’s condition of gout differs as well. Only the doctor will be able to determine how serious the condition actually is and what the best method of treatment is going to be.
